Long awaited and long overdue! Maryland had a chance to be amongst the states who understand as we always have, that marriage is about LOVE!
We have been performing commitment ceremonies in Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania for years and will continue joining gay and lesbian couples in civil ceremonies until the day we can join you in legally in marriage. We know there are differences between a "marriage" and a "civil union" and those inequalities WILL end someday, but in the meantime, we understand that your Big Day is your big day! Legality aside, in our eyes, a wedding is a wedding. We are in the business of love, not politics.
